| SuperCat announces P100 promo rate for Cebu-Tagbilaran route Date Posted: 11/14/2006 As part ongoing promotions for its thrice-daily service to Cebu-Tagbilaran, SuperCat announces that Cebu or Tagbilaran-bound passengers can avail of a return trip ticket for only P100, if they purchase a one way regular fare ticket of P400, inclusive of 12% VAT.
A similar promo is available for the Cebu-Ormoc route, which now offers a return trip fare of P210.
According to SuperCat Fast Ferry Corporation Operations Manager, James Lavides, "Supercat 22 engines are fuel efficient and require low maintenance. It runs on propellers and has a capacity of 200 passengers. They continue to be larger and more comfortable than the standard monohull vessels in the market."
SuperCat temporarily discontinued the Cebu-Tagbilaran service in May 2005, as it searched for more fuel efficient and low cost maintenance vessels. It resumed servicing the route last November 11, 2006.
"While we place the highest importance on making every voyage safe, enjoyable and comfortable, we also want to continue making SuperCat an affordable option for the riding public," said Lavides.
Supercat operates four vessels in three ports of call: Supercats 20 and 23 operate in Batangas, Supercat 21 in Ormoc and Supercat 22 in Tagbilaran.
